VWINRC TREX 450 Spare Parts Metal Gear Digital Servo MG90D

good
It is the same size as the original ladder servo of Assault 450. Operating speed and torque are better than original.
I first built a 450 sized tricopter and used a $30 Hi-Tech metal gear analog servo. During a crash, the motor burnt out. I bought a new $30 Hi-Tech plastic gear servo and managed to strip out the plastic gears. I moved the first one's metal gears over to the second servo and then burnt the motor out it! What a pain! I bought this not expecting it to be much better, but it was way better! This one is digital with metal gears. I put it on my 450 tricopter and the smoothness it gave was above and beyond what I was getting from the analog Hi-Tech motors. I now have this server on 3 mini tricopters. I've only managed to break one of these MG90D servos and that was when I crashed directly on it. Poor thing didn't have a chance. I recommend these servos all the time now - whether you're building a large or mini tricopter, this is the servo you want to try fist. Also, for less than $7, it's not too hard on the wallet to pick up a spare!
i have these on tarot 450dfc so so good they are good value
this is one of those deals where you get good quality for a low price, these servos can take a beating and has a good precision.. good buy for the money
bought for testing it as a cheap tricopter tail servo, seems to work ok so far, but time will tell
Little to no backlash, quick reaction. Very good deal for the price, really. I had to find a screw in my stock to fit the output shaft as the supplied ones were'nt the right size.
